He was predeceased by: his parents, Angela Yakubow and Fred Yakubow; his brother Benny Yakubow; his brother-in-law Bill Matwijiw; and his parents-in-law, Marion and Kay Mruk.
He is survived by: his wife Lucille; his children, Theresa Heath (Glenn) of Airdrie, Marian Boser (Sean) of Spring Lake and Chris Yakubow (Jackie) of Mundare; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Bailey, Quinn, Casey and Mason; and his sister Vickie Matwijiw of St. Albert.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the "Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church Cemetery – Mundare.".
