Elsie Warawa Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elsie Warawa of Mundare, Alberta, who passed away on June 30, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Roman; her parents, Elia Semotiuk and Paraska Semotiuk; and her siblings, Mary Prelypchan (John), Ann Nikiforuk (Tom), Olga Dowhaniuk (George), Peter (Rose), Steve (Olga), Harry, Johnny and Nestor (Nancy).
She is survived by: her sons, Rudy Warawa (Theresa) and Dave Warawa (Tammy); her grandchildren, Jason, Steven, Grayson, Austin, Spencer and Brooklyn; and her sisters-in-law, Olga Semotiuk and Mary Semotiuk.
Due to covid-19 restrictions, a private Divine Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held at Sts. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church in Mundare with the Basilian Fathers officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the "Sts. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church Cemetery" or to the "Bethany Foundation – c/o Rosehaven Care Centre.".
