He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred and Lillian. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his son Troy (Rayna); his grandchildren, Eliza and Carter; his daughters, Torri (Kyle) and Tannis (Tristan); his sister Rose Try (Al); his uncle Eugene (Evelyn); and his niece Carla Try. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Memorial donations may be made to the "Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.".
