He is survived by: his children, Charisse Chelstad-Easter (Shawn), Sabrina Layden, Neil Layden, Robyn Vilcu (Isaac) and Derek Layden; his grandchildren, Jada, Graham, Shayne, Jocelyn, Jared, Kaylee, Teslin, Trystan, Allorah, Kenzia and Teneille; and his siblings, Clark (Donna), Michael, Reginald (Gai), Hal and Gaytan Thiels (Bob). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
