He was predeceased by: his wife Marlene; his mother Julia; his stepfather Ian; his father George; and his brother-in-law Sam Hansen.
He is survived by: his children, Greg (Heather), Michelle Simpson, Real and Roland (Kelli); his grandchildren, Cameron (Jaylene), Reagan, Breanne, Erin, Noah, Ryder and Brant; his great grandchildren, Rylan, Braelyn and Parker; his siblings, Helen, Ernie (Dilys), Tilly and Gordon (Lynn); and his close friend Ella Rogers.
In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to Minburn Cemetery Fund.
