He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma and Karl; his brother Karl; and his brothers-in-law, Edwin Hirsekorn and Vincent McKeown.
He is survived by: his wife Ellen; his children, Alvin (Heather) and Marie (Michael); his grandsons, Murray, Jeffrey and Kurt (Samantha); his great grandchildren, Chael, Callen, Jaxon and Micah; and his siblings, Miriam, Elizabeth, Manfred (Betty) and Gerald.
