She was predeceased by: her father Bernhard Melnikel; her stepfather Dan Borzush; and her brother David Melnikel. She is survived by: her husband Michael; her children, Shaun (Stacey) and Scott (Teresa); and her siblings, Marlene Noyes (Dennis), Shirley Fleury (Maurice), Kenneth Melnikel, Edwin Melnikel (Lucinda), Katherine Breadner (Norman), Robert Melnikel, Janet Schwab (Paul), Donna Rutland, Paul Melnikel (Ita) and Theresa Melnyk (Curtis). She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
