He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret; his parents, Hazel Durnford and Ben Durnford; his brothers, Aiden and Winston; his parents-in-law, Mary and Garland Warren; his grandson Braden; and his great grandchild Rylan.

He is survived by: his pet Newfie; his daughters, Judy (Greg), Sue (Ron) and Adrienne (Mike); his grandchildren, Alicia (Garrett), Amber, Shalene (Justin), Tori, Shianne (Connor) and Tyler (Kiana); his great grandchildren, Damian, Monique, Tavin, Mila, Logan, Maci and Valor; and his brother Jack Kendall. He is also survived by numerous other family members and dear friends.
