He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Gropp (Wally) and Helen Gropp; and his nephew Todd Smyth. He is survived by: his siblings, Dave (Jacquie), Carol (Doug) and Diane (Brian); his nieces and nephews, Scott (Heidi), Shaun (Cheryl), Lauri Ann (Jason) and Heather (Dan); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Josh, Wyatt, Andrew, Shaylin, Paige and Casey.
