Reuben Schmidt Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Reuben Schmidt of Medicine Hat, Alberta, born in Empress, Alberta, who passed away on August 21, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Inez, Betty Pillow, Helen Semrau, Alfred and Bob; and his parents, John Schmidt and Alvina Schmidt.

He is survived by: his siblings, Eileen Pendlebury (Allan), Harvey (Marion), Don (Barb), Bernice Lothammer (Art), Pearl Oram (late Eric), Bev Younker (Dwight), Jim (Kim) and Yvonne Crowther (Ray); and his sister-in-law Meta (late Alfred). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
