He was predeceased by: his brothers, Rick Poisson and Wilfred Poisson; and his father Laurier Poisson. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Poisson; his daughters, Jennifer Jalbert (Greg) and Kendra Kobley (Brandon); his stepson Mike Purdy (Dawn); his mother Velma Berg; his grandchildren, Hunter, Zoe, Brie and Noah; his stepgrandchildren, Victoria (Kyle) and Alex; and his great grandchild Noah.
