She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Mazur and Gladys Mazur; and her brother Michael Mazur. She is survived by: her husband Peter J. Hammel; her daughters, Rita Huysmans (Tony) and Linda Brilz (Terry); her grandchildren, Jeffrey Wickenheiser (Michaela), Mitchell Wickenheiser (Carolyn), Ryan Huysmans (Justine Yee), Alan Brilz (Siobhan) and Carissa Brilz-Broussier (Thibaut); her great grandchildren, Elliot Wickenheiser, Isabel Brilz and Henry Brilz; and her sisters, Ann Westland (Rod) and Diane Mazur.
