She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Alice Gunn and Earl Gunn; her husband Keith Mitchell; her daughters, Kathy Ziegler (Lary Janot) and Caroline Daly; her son-in-law Mike Diemer; her brother Clarence Gunn (Joe); her siblings-in-law, Gilles Larocque, Carol Gunn and Judy Ball; her daughter Debbie Diemer; her son-in-law Jeff Daly; and her siblings, John, Allan, Duncan Gunn, Jean Mott, Margaret Larocque and Dianne Gunn. She was also cherished by five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
