It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Yvonne Facchin of Medicine Hat, Alberta, who passed away on June 30, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Giacomino "Jack" Facchin; her parents, Richard Stoner and Doris Stoner; and her siblings, Dickie Stoner, Barry Stoner (Sheila), Joyce Calanchie (Bill) and Vivian Baines (Bill).
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Vermette (Brad Krizan), Afton of Calgary, Aidan of Calgary and Reno Facchin (Shauna); her grandchildren, Keneel of Medicine Hat and Jericho of Medicine Hat; her siblings, Rita Stoner of Deal, England, Pauline Leng (Peter) of Deal, England and Rodney Stoner of Dover, England; and her extended family, Ron, Wendy, Kole, Casey Van Maarion and Diana Wilkinghoff. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
