She was predeceased by: her husband Adam Schafer; her parents, Raymond Haaf and Susanne Haaf of Fox Valley; her sister Anne Dirk (Mike); her brother-in-law Robert Hatch; and also, Rose Rieder (Adam), Elizabeth Schile (Andrew), John J. Schafer, Bill Schafer (Rose), Daniel Schafer, Sally Fischer (Henry) and Emanuel Schafer (Mabel).
She is survived by: her daughter Valerie Folk (Lionel); her sister Beverly Hatch; and her sister-in-law Shirley Schafer.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her honor to Holy Family Parish or a charity of your choice.
