He was predeceased by: his fathers, Joseph Stenger and Cornelius Stenger (Nellie); his former wives, Mary Brown and Mildred Stenger (Rommel); his sons, Leonard Stenger and Neal Stenger; his siblings, Alec Stenger and Agnus Solverson; and his siblings-in-law, Hubert Solverson, Walter Dell and Peggy Stenger.
He is survived by: his sons, Lyle Stenger (Yvonne), Thomas Stenger (Kim), Clifford Stenger (Jennifer Cote) and Brad Stenger (Cheryl); his daughter-in-law Cindy Stenger; and his sisters, Velma Impey (Tom) and Mary Dell. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; and eighteen great grandchildren.
