He was predeceased by: his parents, John Phillips and Katherine Phillips; his stepmother Cecilia; his son Kirby Phillips; his siblings, Ralph (Georgina Phillips) and Margaret (Roy Dodds); his parents-in-law, Frank and Helen Millington; his nephews, Brian, Gary Dodds and Willie Millington; his niece Shelley Carlson; and his siblings-in-law, Gloria Carlson, Leona Millington, Bette Millington, Art and Bill Millington.
He is survived by: his wife Doreen Millington; his daughters, Nadine Dewar (Bob) and Kathy Wang (Kent); his grandchildren, Erin, Matthew Dewar, Jordan Carr, Alex, Tori and Mary Wang; his great grandchild Luca Carr; his siblings, Harold Phillips (Grace), Joan Mullenbeck (Willie) and Tom Phillips (Alice); and his brother-in-law Glen'Tiny'Carlson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cook Southland Funeral Chapel (901 13 St SW, Medicine Hat, AB T1A4V4).
