He was predeceased by: his mother Frances Kahl (Sebit). He is survived by: his father John Kahl; his wife Mary of Medicine Hat; his children, Cameron Kahl (Emma) and Kendra Todd (Mathew); his grandchildren, Ethan and Tillie Kahl; and his sister Lorraine Malm. He is also survived by loving father, and the best papa to his grandchildren.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at 937 12 St SW, Medicine Hat, AB T1A2T4.
