He was predeceased by: his father Gerard Van Dyk (Red); and his sister Jan Owen. He is survived by: his mother Adriana Van Dyk; and his sisters, Mary Rose, Elfriede Hoose (Don) and Adriana Mackay (Jim). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews.
