She was predeceased by: her husband James "Jimmy" Austin; her parents, Otto Reuer and Frieda Reuer; her in-laws, James and Alice Austin; her sisters, Audry Ammann (Fred) and Ethel Reuer; and her brother-in-law Douglas Needrum.

She is survived by: her children, Tamara Anton, Austin Anton and Steven Austin (Amanda); her grandchildren, Jenna and Jaylyn; her son Scott Austin (Dawn); her grandchildren, Izabel and Kassidy; and her sisters-in-law, Jane Needrum and Karen Rae (Bill).
