He was predeceased by: his parents, Caroline Jackle and Ludwig Jackle; his stepmother Edna; his siblings, Edwin and Esther (Bruce Martin); and his sister-in-law Irene Jackle.
He is survived by: his wife Anita Jackle of Medicine Hat; his children, Robert Jackle (Cherryl) and Rhonda Jackle; his grandchildren, Landon Hillman (Renee), Nicole Glasgo, Daniel Hillman (Karla), Zachary Burnett (Trang) and Samantha Burnett; his brother Harold Jackle; his sisters-in-law, Margaret Jackle and Lavern Leroy (Lucien); and also Norma Burnett (Dale). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
