We are sad to announce that on August 30, 2024, at the age of 91, Eva Ottilia Schafer of Medicine Hat, Alberta passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Nicholas Schafer; her parents, Jack Leismeister and Dorothy Leismeister; her siblings, Basil Leismeister, Frank Leismeister, Jack Leismeister (Carol) and Loraine Woolley; her siblings-in-law, Theresa Schafer, Sylvester Schafer, Philip Schafer and Ben Schafer; her nephew Darcy Leismeister; her niece Lacinda Kuntz; and her parents-in-law, Anton and Eugenia Schafer.
She is survived by: her children, Karen-Ann Hall (Richard), Marlene Schafer, Darvin Schafer and Lanna Morgan (Daryl); her grandchildren, Joseph Hall, Kathleen Glasgo (Tyler), Daniel Hall (Carmen), Dustin Morgan (Bryony) of Australia and Brendan Morgan (Maj) of Denmark; her great grandchildren, Oaklynn Glasgo, Ryann Glasgo and Vida Hall; her sister Kathleen Kuntz (Clem); and her siblings-in-law, Robert Woolley, George Schafer, Ed Schafer (Marg), David Schafer (Cleora), Tony Schafer (Lucille), James Schafer (Sandy), Bernice Desrosiers (Bob), Marie Wiedeman (Allan), Leona Leismeister, Delores Schafer and Lillian Schafer.
