Elsie Smith Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 23, 2025, at the age of 94, Elsie Smith of Medicine Hat, Alberta, born in Tompkins, Saskatchewan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Cliff Smith; her parents, Ernest Wallin and Minnie Wallin; her parents-in-law, James and Alice Smith; her siblings, Myrtle McIntosh (Tootie), Frank Wallin and Norman Wallin; her siblings-in-law, Morrison McIntosh, Reg Smith, Peter Shiels, Gordon Gilchrist, Melva Wallin, Doris Gilchrist, Alice Smith and Irene Shiels; and her grandson Mathew Smith.

She is survived by: her children, Elaine Jahnke (Randy), Terry Smith (Gayle) and Raymond Smith (Paulette); and her siblings, Doug Smith (Crystal), Donnie Smith (Dixie) and Garry Smith (Dawna). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
