He was predeceased by: his parents, Tillie Meuchel and John Meuchel; his sister Marlene Materi; his nephews, Tim and Darvin; and his niece Cindy.

He is survived by: his wife Dolores; his children, Carol Ann, Mark (Sandy), Glen (Pauline) and Troy (Jami); his nieces, Jackie, Lila and Joanne; and his nephew Tom. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Parish (1451 Strachan Rd SE, Medicine Hat, AB T1B4V3).

If so desired, memorial donations can be made to Blumenfeld and District Heritage Site, Box 104, Leader, SK, in the name of Edwin Meuchel (cheque only please).
