Edgar Jans Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edgar Jans of Medicine Hat, Alberta, who passed away on February 20, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Loretta Jans (Bauer) of Medicine Hat; his parents, Fred Jans and Elizabeth Jans (Sulz); his parents-in-law, Gottleib and Meta Bauer (Knodel); his brothers, Clarence Jans and Leonard Jans; and his siblings-in-law, Horace Bauer and Marjorie Hyatt.

He is survived by: his children, Deb Noga (Dan), Warren Jans (Sandra), Denise Welz (Ernie) and Corinne Jans; his granddaughter Joyce Krause (Shane); his great grandchildren, Laila, Daphne and Sheldon Noga (Katina); his brother Elmer Jans; his sisters-in-law, Aase Bauer, Florence Jans and Gertie Jans; and also, Jessica, Axle, Lisa Jans (Dillon Fauser), Lemmy, Tracy Konynenbelt (Kyle), Kade, Kacey, Kash, Carla Jans (Sean Starosta), Kevin Welz, Kyle Welz (Crystal), Levi, Isaac and Bryce Welz (Shanelle). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
