He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam and Mary; his sons, Kevin and Gary; and his sisters, Helen and Lil.

He is survived by: his wife Gertie; his sons, Michael (Cynthia), David (Alissia) and Chris (Erin); his grandchildren, Ashley (Sheldon), Amber (Mika), Sara (Travis), Nathan (Keisha), Zachary (Madi), Erin and Banks; and his siblings, John (Maxine), Ted and Dianne (Ron). He is also survived by his great-grandchildren.
