Dorothy left this world on April 8, 2025 at the age of 97, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parent Walter (Anna Hanson). She is survived by: her siblings, Donald, Alice and Phyllis; her son Albert; her husband Victor Wenzel; her children, Raymond Odland (Susan), Carole Thannhauser (Harald) and Lois Siegel (Lyle); her daughter-in-law Lorna Odland (Albert); and her sister-in-law Lyla Rutherford. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:55 PM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (515 Sprague Way SE, Medicine Hat, AB T1B4A7). A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at the Saamis Prairie View Cemetery (5160 Gershaw Dr SW, Medicine Hat, AB T1B3N2).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
