He was predeceased by: his wife Edna McKelvie; his parents, Constance McKelvie and Ronald McKelvie; his sister Verda; his siblings-in-law, Kendall Kempton, Yvonne Wood, Bob Ireland and Grant Wood; his nephew Jake Wood; and also, Howard, Eloise Ireland and Melanie Wood.
He is survived by: his niece Trish Belliveau (Larry) of Halifax, NS; and his brothers-in-law, Ken Ireland (Kate) of High River, AB and Roger Ireland (Jackie) of Wetaskiwin, AB. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
