He is survived by: his parents, Todd Valkenburg and Val Valkenburg; his sister Vanessa Gagnon (Matthew); his nephews, Jack and Logan; his grandmother Gladys Valkenburg; his birth mother Tammy Rector; and his grandmother Holly Morine. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
