He is survived by: his children, Dr. Adriaan Kriel, Dr. Madeleine Kriel, Huibre, Vic Wilkens and Anna-Mart; his grandchildren, Victor, Huibre, Wilco, Jan, Phoebe, Adriaan and Jensen; and his children, Eike, Dustin, Alden Sky, Helia Maria and Vaylen Arion.
