He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce; his siblings, Alfred (Agnes), Frank (Jean), Mina (Cecil) and Alma; and his siblings-in-law, Calvin and Bessie.
He is survived by: his parents, Herman and Frieda; his children, Randy (Sandra) and Wendy (Les); his grandchildren, Dana (Terry), Angela (Dustin), Chelsea (Seb), Cameron, Bryce (Carly) and Curtis; his great grandchildren, Toni (Ty), Caiden, Caleb, Gavin and Aida; his brother Otto; and his sister-in-law Laura. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
