He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Mattson. He is survived by: his sons, Shon (Jenny Lowry) and Brice Mattson (Laure); his grandchildren, Jace, Rozin, Rein and Ryatt; and his sisters, Elaine, Sheila (George) and Sharon (Wayne). He is also survived by his beloved Oilers, his grandchildren.
In his honour, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Patricia Mattson Legacy Fund, a scholarship fund for Mayerthorpe Graduates looking to pursue post secondary Education.
