Leah Stang Obituary
We bid farewell to Leah Stang of Manning, Alberta, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 10, 2025 at the age of 70. Leah touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mathew Ferriss and Edith Ferriss; her brother Dennis Ferriss; her father-in-law Frank Stang; her brothers-in-law, Douglas May, Bill Rycroft and Linus Becher; and her nephews, Barrett Ferriss and Christopher Gardner.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Donna; her husband Bill Stang; her children, Shane (Stacy Stang), Shannon (Calvin Mah) and Shawna (Shane Nett); her grandchildren, Colby Stang, Tylan Stang, Matheson Mah, Cameron Mah, William Mah, Joshua Mah, Cory Nett and Haylee Nett; her mother-in-law Magdalen Stang; and her brothers, Vernon (Donna Ferriss) and Lorne (Marianne Ferriss). She is also survived by sisters in law, brothers in law, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
A prayer was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the St. James the Major Catholic Church (208 5 Ave SE, Manning, AB T0H2M0).
