He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon; his parents, Ragnar and Effie; and his brothers, Arnold and Alvin.

He is survived by: his sons, Mark (Angela Kjelland) and Aaron (Kate Osborne); his grandchildren, Brent (Justine), Brandi Lee (Adam Oborowsky) and Blair (Victoria Alexander); his great grandchild Rosalyn; his close friend Marlene Tkachuk; and his brothers, Harold (Doreen) and Clarence (Dorothy). He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
