She was predeceased by: her parents, Malcolm Lane MacQuarrie and Elizabeth Jane "Janet" MacQuarrie; her husband Malcolm Murray MacKinnon; her siblings, Joseph MacQuarrie "Brother Lawrence", Stanley Alexander MacQuarrie and Abby Lane MacDonald; her nephew Callum MacQuarrie; and her great-nephew Brad MacArthur.

She is survived by: her friend Sunnyside Manor; and her extended family, Elizabeth, Claude, Jenna, Mikayla, Caitlyn and Suzanne Mathiot of Mallaig, AB..
