He was predeceased by: his father Earl Thomson. He is survived by: his wife Lise Thomson of Magrath; his children, Craig Thomson (Lachelle) of Magrath, Chad Thomson of Calgary, Clarke Thomson (Sarah) of Nampa, Idaho and Suzanne Teran; and his siblings, Jolayne Robinson, Melvin Thomson, Weldon Thomson and Lenore Cahoon. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and three great grandsons.
