He was predeceased by: his parents, Gottlieb Sackman and Linda Sackman; his wife Doreen Gosselin; and his children, Doug and Wanda.
He is survived by: his friend Maggie Hoffman of Coleman, AB; his sons, Stephen Sackman (Laurie) of Regina, SK and Tracey Sackman (Roxie) of Strathmore, AB; his grandchildren, Stephanie, Shalaine, Tyler, Shelby, Shauneen and Hunter; his great grandchildren, Jayden, Paisley and Racen; and his siblings, Harvey Sackman (Ann) of Medicine Hat, AB, Roy Sackman (Eleanor) of Redcliff, AB, Cliff Sackman (Jessie) of Redcliff, AB, Stan Sackman (Lana) of Dunmore, AB, Marge Dieno (Neil) of Medicine Hat, AB and Gladys Strobel (Jack) of Coaldale, AB. He is also survived by his extended family and many friends.
