He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas Cookson and Elsie Cookson; his wife Eunice; his sons, Ron, Tom (Linda), Blair (Jackie) and Scott (Barb); his stepdaughter Denise (Morris); his siblings, Donald and Rosemary; and his former wife Vesta. He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren.
