She was predeceased by: her great great grandchild Colt; her parents, James Sexton and Margaret Olsen; her stepfather Magnus Olsen; her brother James; and also, Loraine, Mary and Kay.

She is survived by: her husband Art Knapik; her children, Maggie Studer, Amy Bugg, Thomas Bugg, Christopher Bugg, Alfie, Steven Chase Studer (Lisa), Aaron Whitney (Kirsten), Caleb, Devin Studer, Dawn Aubrey (Bruce), Elise Keyowski and Carol Klein (Paul); her grandchildren, Gordon Logan (Dana), Madison, Katelyn Klein, Brett Klein, Robin Klein, Kobi Klein and Tyler Klein; her son Gordon Studer (Christine); her grandchildren, Virginia Studer, Rebecca Studer and James Studer; her brother Bill Sexton; and also Carol Studer. She is also survived by her sisters and brothers-in-law; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
