He was predeceased by: his parents, Constantin Kokonas and Maria Kokonas; his brother Jim; and his father-in-law Bernie Mainville. He is survived by: his wife Debbie; his son Jim Kokonas (Kim); his grandchildren, Ileanna and Milena; his daughter Maria Bergerud (Ian); his grandchildren, Abby, Luke, Emilia and Will; his mother-in-law Marion Mainville; his siblings, Spiro Kokonas (Tina) and Marina Katsiris (Ted); and his brother-in-law Greg Mainville (Leila).

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Bill may be made to Lloydminster Men's Shelter.
