He is survived by: his granddaughter Rosaimee Murphy (Liam); his great grandchildren, Evangeline Murphy and Jameson Murphy; his sister Ishbel Cormack (Doug); his children, Michael Garland (Gala), David Garland (Alice) of Sherwood Park and Lesley Wilmot (Barry) of Calgary; his grandchildren, Andy Garland, Olivia Garland, Christian Garland, Ben Wilmot and Logan Wilmot; and his sister Sybil.
