It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vivian Blanchette (Lloydminster, Alberta), born in Maidstone, Saskatchewan, who passed away on January 3, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Bamford and Julia Bamford; her sister Georgina Sutherland; and her granddaughters, Brandy Young and Nicole Collins.
She is survived by: her husband Donald "Peter" Blanchette; her children, Marie (Gerald Hartman) of Maidstone, SK, Don Blanchette (Marilyn) of Streamstown, AB, Terry Blanchette (Tracey) of Blind Bay, BC, Colleen (Doug Young) of Paynton and Ardella (Duane Franks) of Lloyd, AB; her grandchildren, Kurt Hartman (Gina), Chris Hartman (Kim), Jeff Collins, Jill Vany (Mike), Melissa Nasby (Sheldon), Jeff Blanchette (Heidi), Sean Blanchette (Lisa), Ryan Blanchette (Lauren), Scott Young (Megan), Devon Walker (Pam), Warren Walker (Christa), Mandy Walker, Chelsea Skoretz (Kyle) and Brett Franks (April); and her siblings, Shirley Blanchette, Mary Nault and Ted Bamford (Linda). She is also survived by 29 great grandchildren.
