He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Ostertag and Mary Graf; and his siblings, Wendelin Ostertag, George Adams, Hilda Heffner, Colette Sutherland and Joe Ostertag.

He is survived by: his grandson Cody; his great grandchild Ronan; his wife Jean Ostertag; his children, Jay Ostertag and Shelley Bolotniuk (Bob); his granddaughter Jodi Eckel (Troy); his great grandchild Cody Bolotniuk (Laura); his sister Rose Sperling; his sister-in-law Helen Ostertag; and also Faye McCrimmon (Bryron). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID 19 restrictions, the service will be by invitation only.
