He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick McKevitt and Leona McKevitt; his sister Patsy Edgar; and his brothers-in-law, Roger Edgar and Ken McKay.

He is survived by: his wife Deb McKevitt; his daughters, Leanne McKevitt, Julie McKevitt and Janette Prodahl (Tony); his grandsons, Adam and Brayden Prodahl; his son Michael McKevitt (Nicole); his grandchildren, Kacie and Emily McKevitt; and his siblings, Gerard McKevitt (Barb) and Maureen McKay. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
