He is survived by: his wife Olga Shostak; his children, Orest Shostak, Vera Campbell, Ivan Shostak (Leeanna) and Stephanie Kurtz (Scott); his grandchildren, Lauren Campbell (Taylor Sinclair), Max Kurtz (Kailee), Sydney Kurtz, Alana Hale (Mat), Nathanual Shostak, Tatum Shostak and Jeremy Shostak; his stepgranddaughter Kayla Gorski-Carrol; and his sister Irene Stepa (Peter). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Steve may be made to Descent of the Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Church .
