She was predeceased by: her father Bernard Berting; her parents-in-law, Lousi Schlekewy and Rose Schlekewy; her siblings-in-law, Donna Gory, Robert Schlekewy and Clifford Ferguson; and her great-nephew Oaklen Binsfeld.
She is survived by: her husband John Schlekewy; her daughters, Kelsi Fairley (Hayden) and Jodi Sweird (Jordan); her mother Liz Berting; her siblings, Sharon Kabernick (John), Gordon Berting (Erika) and Roger Berting (Renee); and her siblings-in-law, Rosemarie Schlekewy, Joanne Schlekewy (Ron Harris), Madeline Smith, Dorothy Schlekewy, Shirley Passmore (Norman), Geraldine Giesbrecht (Herb), Jim Schlekewy and Clinton Gory. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Donations in memory of Sandra can be made to Border Paws Animal Shelter or Our Lady of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church - St. Walburg.
