He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan McInnes and Winnifred McInnes; his sisters, Nancy Stanley and Lenore Taylor; and his brothers-in-law, Ken Stanley and Art Taylor.

He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Strand; his children, Shandra Matthews (Rod), Cindy Munroe (Rob) and Rodney Nunweiler (Ann-Dee); his grandchildren, Cole, Madison, Regann, Ian, Peggy, Bobbie (Taylor) and Allen (Zoey); and his great grandchildren, Kolby and Toni. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
