He was predeceased by: his wife Cynthia Treptow; and his father Paul Treptow. He is survived by: his sons, Tobi Ehnes (Kristen), Blake Ehnes and Dirk Treptow (Mel); his mother Josephine Treptow; his grandchildren, Mason and Cassidy; and his brothers, Bryan (Linda) and Wayne.
