He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex McAleer and Frances McAleer; and his brothers, Ronald and Gerald McAleer. He is survived by: his wife Arlene McAleer; his children, Darla McAleer, Vickie Meed (Jody) and Michele McAleer; his grandchildren, Echo Jasman (Chance), Logan Meed and Katie Meed; his great grandchildren, Emily and Theodore Jasman; and his sisters, Beverly Scott, Margaret Crowl (Jerry), Fay Pethick, Joy Pedersen (Robin), Janice Woods and Cheryl Mathias (Michael). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
