He was predeceased by: his wife Carla Hegedus; his father Zigmund Hegedus; his parents-in-law, Earl and Joyce Walker; and his grandmother Myrtle Hyatt.

He is survived by: his children, Kendra Brost (Trevor), Katelyn Hegedus (Derek Gower) and Travis Hegedus; his grandchildren, Payton, Dawson, Beckett, Asher Brost, Tate, Mia Gower and Huxton Hegedus; his mother Joan Hegedus; his siblings, Gloria Sikora (Kerry) and Gordon Hegedus (Debra); his close friend Noelle Cross; and also Kole Koester. He is also survived by numerous nieces, great-nieces and nephews.
